Amy came to Happy Life Children's Home in January 2012.
Angeline
Angeline was abandoned and spent some time at Nairobi Children's Home before she was admitted to Happy Life Children's Home in December 2011. She is approximately 2 years old in this picture.

Divine was admitted to Happy Life Children's Home in January 2012.
Erikah
Erikah was abandoned and spent some time at Nairobi Children's Home before she was admitted to Happy Life Children's Home in December 2011 at the age of 4.
Ethan
Ethan was found along the road and rescued by a man who saw him on Saturday 4 February very early in the morning. He was taken to Happy Life Children's Home.

Ian was born pre-mature (1.7 kgs.) at Thika District Hospital on 15 September 2011 and
was admitted to HLCH in December 2011.

Justine came to HLCH in December 2011.
Kind
Kind was born on 11 November 2011 (2.7 kgs.) at Thika District Hosptial and abandoned. She was later admitted to HLCH in December 2011.
Linda
Linda was born on 12 November 2011 weighing 3.6 kgs. and admitted to HLCH in December 2011. In early 2012, Linda was quite sick and spent a couple of weeks in Kenyatta National Hospital.
Malaika
Malaika came to HLCH in December 2011.
Meshack
Meshack was born on 15 July 2011 and his mother later left him behind at the new born unit where he was undergoing treatment. Meshack was been placed at HLCH in January 2012 since no one has ever come to claim him.

Salome was admitted to HLCH in December 2011.

Shana
Shana, who was approximately one month old when she came to HLCH in February 2012, was rescued by a woman who found her covered but crying under a kiosk one morning.

Shawn came to Happy Life Children's Home in January 2012.
Sheila
Tom & Cecilia
Tom and Cecilia came to HLCH in January 2012 as 20-month-old babies. These twins were left by their mother (a single, orphan girl) in someone's house on 3 December 2011. The case was reported to the police and the children were later taken to the hospital since they were suffering from severe malnutrition. Their mother has been interviewed by the children's officer who recommended that Tom & Cecilia be placed at HLCH for 6 months so that the mother can be monitored to see if she is in a position to raise them. After 6 months, the children may be reunited with her.
