Aaron
Aaron was found abandoned on the 21 March 2010 at Waki bus station in Ruiru (along Thika/Nairobi highway). An unknown lady carrying a baby requested three other ladies who were waiting for a bus to help her hold the baby as she went to the bathroom. They waited for her for a long time, but she never came back. They reported the issue to the Ruiru Police Station and Aaron was taken to the Ruiru Sub-District Hospital. He was estimated to be 4 days old. He was later brought to HLCH on 23 March 2010. Aaron had been experiencing problems with his kidneys. The doctors said that one of them was no longer working and the operation to remove it would be very expensive. While a less expensive route was sought, God provided in a wonderful and unexpected way. He cares for these children and the details of their need that can sometime be overlooked. Aaron is getting a new family: a dad, mom, a sister and a brother!!! AND, the amazing thing is Aaron’s adoptive father work in the medical field--specifically in organ transplants and especially kidneys! God is good! The first time Aaron family saw his story on the blog, they were intrigued and wanted to know more about this boy. When Aaron's dad saw his medical reports, he told us that, according to his observation, Aaron may not need the operation (although he is still consulting with other doctors). Aaron's new dad is from Kenya and his mother is from Finland. God did this!
