"The Happy Life
Children's Home,

READ our article entitled "Adoption is the Option"

in Nairobi Kenya, is filling quickly with the sounds of thirty happy, growing babies. The main purpose of Happy Life Children's Home is to provide for abandoned babies so that they will be eventually adopted. We thank God for the support of all the Friends of HLCH!

God has opened doors and given many unexpected blessings. These little ones are precious to us all."

Adoption Stories

Since Happy Life Children's Home opened, we have successfully adopted 8 children: 4 in U.S.A., 3 in Germany, 1 in Kenya. At present there are 20 children out with future adoptive families. We are pleased that more Kenyan families are now beginning to adopt.

Please pray that the four "older" children will be adopted.

Sundi

At last year's banquet (3rd annual '07) Kim and Jeromy (last picture above on right) shared their joy and excitement over their “daughter-to-be". Kim and Jeromy are living in Kenya with Sandy and are awaiting final approval for adoption Sundi and now Damon. “At the next Banquet you will be able to meet Sundi and Damon in person!” In the meantime, see Sundi's slideshow! Or stay up-to-date with their adoption on their blog at us-in-kenya.blogspot.com.

Jedidah

Jedidah is 4 years old. She joined HLCH on March 5th, 2003. She was abandoned in Eastleigh by an unknown person. Shortly after joining HLCH she was admitted to St. Getrudes Children's Hospital in Nairobi as she was suffering from an amoeba infection. She has since then recovered, and now lives in her new home in Germany with her new father and mother. Jedidah was officially adopted in the spring of 2005.
